Antonio Strange – Antonio Stranges utilizes his effortless skating on both ends of the ice, and is often the first forward back in the defensive zone. The 2020 draft eligible prospect also has extremely fluid edgework, which gives him the ability to find and create space in the offensive zone. However, he was kept to the edges of the ice and was shut down for the majority of the game, and thus only affected the game in flashes.

Connor McMichael – Connor McMichael has an excellent shot, as well as the ability to make space for himself in the offensive zone and reads plays, offensive and defensive, very well. The Washington Capitals prospect is able to have bursts of speed due to his good first steps, and is also able to control the puck at his top speed. He does a good job of breaking up plays in the neutral zone through body position and active stick work.

Tyler Tullio – Ty Tullio has consistently improved so far this season and has become a more reliable player. He has become more aggressive on the forecheck and has demonstrated his ability to finish in tight. He regularly creates space for his teammates in the offensive zone, utilizing his great vision.

Nico Gross – Nico Gross plays a very physical game and is a defensively reliable player. He has good hands and decent edgework.  The 19-year-old Rangers prospect has a very heavy shot from the point and good vision in the offensive and neutral zones. Gross also makes great use of his quick thinking and excellent passing ability. He is truly having a breakout season offensively and is nearing his career high point total, not yet halfway into the season.

Alec Regula – Alec Regula is defensively dependable player, yet also jumps up into the rush often. The defenseman reads plays well and uses his edgework to create space for himself in the offensive zone.  He has a heavy shot, particularly in a one-timer position, and the ability to finish in tight to the goalie.
