Arjun Bawa is a monster. Son of Robin Bawa a former NHL player. Arjun is hard to miss when he is on the ice, he has all the physical tools in the world with imposing size, intimidating strength, powerful skating, and nifty puck handling. Bawa’s a skilled power winger who’s projected to be one of the most surefire things in this draft class, at worst you’re getting a third line winger who can kill penalties but there is a good chance Bawa develops into a game breaking player. Uber athletic at this age, Bawa possesses a lot of on-ice energy and physical prowess. Looks to drive the attack on his own, at times it looks like he wants to walk it into the net himself with how hard and often he takes the puck around the net. Physical down low in the offensive zone, dominates physical space and gets gifted loads of space due to the intimidation and grit factor to his game. A 200ft player that will survey puck battles in the defensive zone and either pull the puck out and lead the transition or land a pin on the man coming out with the puck. Bawa plays with speed, he covers ice too quickly at this level for other players to handle. Bawa is a projectable player, he has not yet had much success with his offensive strategy of taking to puck to the slot and attempting to walk all five guys to score, as he continues to move up he will learn how to use his gifted abilities to put the puck in the back of the net. A very good player and we would not be surprised if he goes in the first round.
