November 8th, 2020 vs Grande Peace Storm: Jacob Goudreau generates a lot of chance whenever he’s on the ice. He has a shoot-first mentality and the majority of the offence comes from him getting pucks on net. He’s a solid skater who can gain speed quickly. Goudreau often chases down the loose puck in the offensive zone and generates from there. He’s a very heavy and physical player. He’ll typically not use his stick to win the puck but instead shove his opponent off the puck. Defensively, Goudreau isn’t overly active. He could be engaged in defensive battles. He doesn’t seem him contribute much in his zone. Overall, he’s one of the top offensive power forwards in the draft. – Liam Horrobin

October 14th, 2020 vs Fort Saskatchewan Rangers –  It took the second year a while to ease into the game but once he did his presence was known. Goudreau is a powerful player with both his strength and offensively. Once he had possession, it was tough for any Fort Sask player to knock him off it which typically result in Goudreau creating an opportunity; which he had plenty of. One downfall I found in his game was his tunnel vision. There were a few times throughout the game were Goudreau would opt to hold onto the puck and go on a solo mission rather than distributing the puck. Overall, Goudreau was the most dominant player on the ice tonight. It was rather shocking to see him finish with only one goal. He’s going to be an exciting player to watch develop. – Liam Horrobin
