Humboldt Broncos Vs. Northeast Wolfpack Nov. 14th, 2020

Humboldt Broncos:

#9 Ty Dauvin F – Had a very solid game. Was consistently working hard the entire game. Dauvin was excellent while forechecking using it to create a turnover that eventually led to a goal for him. He has good positioning and had great board play.

#14 Evhan Allan F – Allan was making solid passes throughout the night. He always seemed to be involved in plays and used his size well. Played a physical game and drove the net well.

#16 Kaden Berry F –  Berry is a good skater who positions himself very well and uses that to make a lot of interceptions. Often stole the puck and created a scoring chance by making a clean breakout pass. In the offensive zone, he capitalized on a clean pass and was often able to keep plays alive by putting pressure on defenders.

Northeast Wolfpack:

#9 Tarin Smith D – Tarin was flying the entire game. He has so much speed and his puck control makes him a threat to score every shift. He isn’t afraid to carry the puck as much and march down the ice. When he is sitting on the blue line he does a great job cycling the puck around. He didn’t have much puck luck in this game but the number of chances he had and will continue to have makes him a difference-maker.

#12 Brody Asuchak F – Another great skater. Whenever he was on the ice I noticed. Asuchak is always putting in 110 percent and making little plays that go unnoticed. He doesn’t play a physical game overall but he uses his stick to create havoc especially in the neutral zone. His shot has a good release and is accurate while in the slot.

#14 Lucas Hvidston F – Hvidston started off the game strong and got better as the game progressed. His goal in the second period was a highlight-reel goal displaying not only his stickhandling abilities but also his speed and how he can create offense 1 on 1. Near the end of the game, while the Wolfpack were seeking a tying goal, Hvidston was cycling the puck with great confidence and had his head on a swivel constantly scanning for a lane to set up the eventual game-tying goal.
